What is a Movement Practice?

A movement practice is much larger than a fitness practice. Generally, the goal of a fitness practice is based on more surface-level qualities such as gaining muscle, cardio fitness, physique, etc. While we can gain high levels of all of these aspects from a broader movement practice, this is not the sole purpose of it and is simply a side-effect of it.

The aim of a movement practice is to bring a conscious awareness of movement into our lives and expand the capabilities of our bodies and minds through practice and exploration. A movement practice gives us a context for the skills we learn, strength we build, and the mobility we develop.
