What are Movement Snacks?

A movement snack is moving your body for a short period of time, throughout the day to keep your body feeling good! We want to snack on movement like we snack on food, and we want to develop the craving to do so.

The aim of a movement practice is to bring a conscious awareness of movement into our lives and expand the capabilities of our bodies and minds through practice and exploration. A movement practice gives us a context for the skills we learn, strength we build, and the mobility we develop.

How to Get Started

Getting started with a movement practice can seem daunting. There are so many pathways you can go down and so much to learn. But do not fear!
